He will graduate in 2023. He has four siblings.  He wants to attend Texas A & M and his interest is soccer. He is aiming for a soccer scholarship. He likes to attend the mentoring program because its fun and he’s learning about having morals, values and making good decision all while hanging out with his friends.

She will graduate in 2023. She likes to work with arts and crafts to help others. She wants to go to medical school and is still searching for the right school. She joined the mentoring program because it is a way to learn valuable lessons and have a good laugh.

He will graduate in 2023. He plans to attend U of Houston to study in Business. He is interested in music and digital arts. He plays the piano and participates in the mentor program to be involved in the community and get a head start on college.

He will graduate in 2023 and plans to go college at Louisiana State University. Some of his interests are playing basketball, drawing and working out. He  has made the decision to participate in the life groups because he’s learning life lessons and how to have a better relationship with God.

She will graduate in 2022 with a welders certificate. She wants to join the army and use her welders certificate to build items. She enjoys attending the small groups for interactions and the discussions about life events.

He will graduate in 2023. He loves music and wants to major in music and work in the music industry. He plans to apply for the University of Notre Dame.  He said, he attends the small groups because he's not really social and participating could help him feel more comfortable sharing instead of keeping things to himself.

They both have worked with youth for 20 years as youth pastors, mentors and with  exchange students from Germany, Mexico and S. Korea. The mentor program is a jump start for youth to serve the community, be great examples and earn scholarships for college.

He will graduate in 2023. He has a twin sister and older brother.  He wants to attend LSU to play football. He joined the mentoring program to see his close friends, but learned that it is really helping him handle everyday situations with his friends.

He will graduate in 2023. He wants to attend the University of Oklahoma because he has family members who are alumni's. He participants in the mentoring program because it gives him an outlet when he feels there is no one there and he feels treated like family.

He will graduate in 2023. He wants to attend a local college, ACC for his associate degree. He loves skateboarding because its challenging and he learns new tricks. He likes the small groups because it keeps him in something positive and he gets to see his friends.

He will graduate in 2023. He plans to attend University of Oregon. He wants to major in Business and receive his minor  in communication. He is involved in the mentor program because he knows the importance of being held accountable and having someone to help guide you in life.

She  will graduate in 2022. She loves basketball and plans to play for a college. She is recognized across the state for her athletic skill and has been highlighted in several magazines.   She enjoys her time with her siblings and looks forward to the mentor camps and meetings throughout the year.

Mentor

He is a graduate of 2015 and will soon receive his college degree in Behavioral Science. He has mentored through RISE since 2015 and wants to see youth make great friends and make good decisions in life by having someone hold them accountable.
