No one ever imagines their dreams shattered in a way of taking steps alone when at one time there were two of you making dreams together. God tells us that he cares for us, so we can turn all our worries over to him.
There are steps that need to be taken to have practical thoughts to continue on the path of comfort and healing.
1. Recall God's purpose for your life.
Knowing what God has empowered you to do is about joyfully pursuing Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Live a life of repentance, grow in perfection through hardships (perfect only means to apply the word of God in your situation until it is complete).
Pick up the cross and follow Jesus wherever the Spirit leads.
Psalm 45: 15- They will be led forth with gladness and rejoicing; They will enter into the King's palace.
Matthew 28:20- therefore go and make disciples of all nations... and teaching them to obey everything.. and surely I am with you always, to the very end of the world.
2. Have patience
Patience is a means of going through hardships in life to discipline us and get us on the path of righteousness. It strengthens our faith and make us more Christ like.
It proves ourselves to God and help build our relationship with him, even as hard as it is, remember that God is on our side.
2 Corinthians 6:3- we live in such a way that no one will stumble because of us, and no one will find fault with our calling. We patiently endure troubles and hardships and calamities of every kind.
James 1:4- for you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
3. Refuse to be discouraged
Lingering in a state of discouragement is a choice. When these thoughts arise put them aside and thank God for his blessings he's given you. Surround yourself in church groups, or get involved in serving the community. Let others help you take the next step of victory.
1 Corinthians 10:5,6
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; and having a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
