Proverbs 5:17-18
Let them be yours alone, never to be shared with strangers. Let your spouse be a fountain of blessing for you. Rejoice in the spouse of your youth.
God has a romance for you. Our obedience to a God to honor our husband and wife specializes in blessings and opens a door that no man can shut. God gave Adam and Eve as an example to marriages. He saw that he was alone and created someone with the same desire to help him to complete the task before him (1 Corinthians 6:18). As husbands, seek God on how to lead your family. If you have several business plans or jobs in mind, decide today which one to focus on and as you seek God, he will give you wisdom on how to make it prosper or how to be a success on your job. Adam completed everything that God placed before him and then he was given a wife to help him maintain it.
As a wife, spend time with God and allow him to mend your heart to pray for your husband to be a success in whatever he does. Have faith in him. When you both are on one accord and there is not a lot of going back and forth, God empowers your unity and commands his blessings upon you both. God’s romance is seeing you both in unity, loving each other and building each other up mentally, emotionally, and spiritually and he enhances your desire for each
PRAYER
Lord, give us strength to clothe our marriage with your presence, and not think about ways to indulge in our own selfish ways. Help us to run from anything that pulls us away from your way of doing things. Help us to be in harmony, love, forgive and work together to be prosperous. We will pursue what is good and what builds up our marriage. We choose today to surround ourselves with other couples and enjoy the companionship of those who trust in you with pure hearts in Jesus name.
