1 Thessalonians 4:4
Learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable.
To forgive means that you surrender your right to get even and you choose to resist the impulse for revenge. God said, vengeance is mine, I will repay. His way may not be what you think they deserve, because his desire is for all to be saved, He may open their eyes to see the changes they need to make in their lives. Even if it doesn’t seem like God is working on your behalf, let it go and forgive. Trust that God is a God of reconciliation (Hebrews 10:30).
Today choose to do things God's way, he wants you to see things scriptural. Jesus said, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.” Jesus saw a flawed and weak generation, know that we are all working to be better people. Another thing you could do while choosing to forgive is adjusts your feelings. Allow God to give you a desire to bless those who hurt you. If you seek him to handle your disappointments and hurts from others, he will give you a heart to pray for change in those same people, so that they will make better decisions and treat others in love.

PRAYER
Lord, help us to surrender our own way of doing things for you. You have instructed us in your word, to depend on you and to live at peace with everyone. We chose to excuse the faults of others. We will see through your eyes and show mercy and grace toward others. As we pursue peace, we will reap a harvest of righteousness. We will walk in victory in our marriage to see our relationships with others grow stronger in Jesus name.
