Isaiah 61:1-31
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me... The oil of joy, instead of mourning, a garment of praise, instead of a spirit of despair. We will be called the oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of the splendor.
There are times when heated conversations or unpleasant interactions are not resolved. This is a time to seek godly wisdom and use the word of God to handle the situation in a scriptural manner. The scripture encourages us to cast our cares before the Lord (1 Peter 5:7). The goal is to solve any difficulty in your relationship quickly. In Ephesians 4:26 it tells us, in your anger do not sin; do not let the sun go down while you are still angry. These words are suggesting that we do not harbor a purpose of revenge, if you are angry, which may be the case and sometimes unavoidable, see that it does not become sin. Do not let it linger over into a fresh new day.
There are people whose past relationships may have included verbal abuse, a feeling of abandonment, or maybe from a dysfunctional family that included alcoholism or divorce. These situations bring on anger and resentment if they are not dealt with properly.
If these circumstances in life are not addressed, a person will find themselves in the same situation over and over again (new relationships trying again or financial difficulties). To cancel out such hardships in life, past and present difficulties must be confronted which in turn will help your interactions with others be more effective. Take the time to seek godly counsel, pray and read the word, so that your mind is renewed. The word of God is in place to help us see what healthy functioning is and the cause of dysfunction. There is no hope in harboring anger and hatred. If issues are not confronted and dealt with it leaves room for sickness, fear, negative feelings and the urge to make ungodly decisions in your every day life. Choose to cherish faith, hope and love and let the last rays of the day find you always peaceful and calm.

PRAYER
Lord, give us strength to embrace those who are in our lives to build us up and encourage us. Lord, heal us where it hurts, take away the pain and make us whole. Give us courage to face those difficult times in life, so that we can be of good use to each other and others. Take away thoughts of fear that we can't do what you've called us to do. Be our comforter and help us to rest in you. You are our protector and we trust that you created us and made a way for us to have a life of success. Send people in our pathway who will encourage us as a friend and who have the same desire to succeed in your strength and with your help. God, we trust you in Jesus name.
