Joyful Wedding:
Lord, we pray for your peace to rule richly in our marriage and in our home. You said in your Word that the peace you give passes all understanding. We receive and choose to let the peace of Christ rest in our hearts and extend to our marriage.
Free us from the ways of a bad attitude. Work in our hearts and minds to transform our thought pattern to positive ones- despite the struggles we face. Fill us with joy that only comes from you.
Our joyous day is coming ______________ (date). We release great fellowship, laughter, love and joy months before, the day of the wedding and months after. We plead the blood of Jesus and cancel any works of the enemy that would try and hinder your perfect peace and joy for our days together.
Thank you for inner gifts of trust, strength, compassion, forgiveness and truth that we live and grow together in love and peace. Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly.
Thank you for a smooth transition as we prepare spiritually, financially, physically, mentally and emotionally. As we commit these days and the day of our wedding to you, you will cause it to be a success.
Lord, your LOVE is implanted in our hearts. Each day may we inspire to use kind words, be considerate of each other's feelings, needs and wishes. We have a spirit of understanding and excuse each other's faults. Increase our faith to trust you. Guide our marriage and be glorified in our mishaps.
Our desire is to do good every time. We bind up strife, confusion and release clarity and strength to rise up to be the kings and queens you've called us to be. We are focused and motivated to spur each other on. Our words toward each other please you. Give us strength to live out our dreams to walk in unity and self- discipline. Mend our hearts toward your good will and each other. We love, talk and live by faith. When days our bad we give our hearts to you and you restore peace and love.
